The FL-series especially is suitable for illuminating large out-door areas and can replace conventional lamps up to 2000 W by the different performance classes. Light distribution The light distribution of the FL-series is generated by special optics. Because of this optic, a traditional reflector is not needed anymore. By using these optics the lumen loss gets reduced and the whole lamp efficiency gets better. We can offer optics with different light distributions whereby nearly every industrial scenario can be illuminated. Light source To get a reliable and efficient light source we have chosen a diode from the well-known company Lumileds (formerly Philips). The for years used diode has even at high temperatures a small loss of luminous flux und extremely good photometric charac-teristics, for example a high color rendering index
