Universal Joint Earthquake Expansion Joints minimize the risk of breakage that may occur as a result of seismic movements, relieve the stress on rigid pipes and ensure the continuity of the system. Designed to accommodate movements in three different directions (axial, lateral, angular), these flexible connection elements are FM approved and are widely used especially in fire circuits. It is offered with AISI 304 Stainless Steel Flanged Bellows and optional AISI 316 & 321 material options. It can be used safely in the diameter range of DN25 (1”) - DN300 (12”), at 250 psi pressure and between -90 °C and +550 °C temperature. The ideal solution for all building transitions, dilatation points and fire circuits.
