FORESTRY REGISTRATION AND TRACKING SYSTEMS

ULUÇINAR WOOD AND LOG MARKING SYSTEM We brought this system to Turkey, which is not yet available in the forestry sector in Turkey. With this system, all cut logs are recorded while surveying (logging harvesting) and it is possible to monitor each log at every stage, and also prevent leakages. This system allows to track each log through computer systems. This follow-up is also possible thanks to applications to be installed on computers, handheld terminals, tablets and smartphones. No log is lost. With this system, trees and logs can be recorded. (There are similar systems in the world. These have been used in America and Europe for 30 or 40 years) Our labels are prepared for wood, logs and other forest products. These are plastic (barcode) labels that are nailed to the head of the products with a special OR-SET hammer (barcode hammer) so that wood, log and other forest products can be recorded, tracked and not stolen. Tags have tabs on the backs to pierce the log. The same barcode and numbers are written both on the label and on the coupon part. When barcodes are read by electronic devices (via laser reader handheld terminals, tablets, smart phones, and other devices), the numbers written with barcodes appear on the screens of these devices (the numbers written on the label are the same as the numbers on these devices when barcodes are read. QR codes or other systems instead of barcodes) This number becomes the TR Identity Number of the log. The length, diameter, class, breed, region, etc. properties of the log are entered into the Computer Application via hand terminals thanks to this barcode number. Recording the logs, classifying the ones with higher economic value, and using them in places where they can be more valuable by separating them, allows the Security Forces to fully control the logs along the routes they are shipped from to the Forest Warehouses without being stolen or lost (until they leave the forest and on the highways). This system allows to track each log through computer systems. This follow-up is also possible thanks to applications to be installed on handheld terminals, tablets, and smart phones. No log is lost in this system and the coordinates of each tree are known.
