Slot PLC is produced with SPEED7 technology and designed for computers to be used with PCI interface. The system 500S can be expanded up to 124 PROFIBUS-DP slave stations. The CPU can be powered externally. Operation and visualization are done with the "PLCTool" program. Due to its module dimensions, it is suitable for standard desktop computers. It can be programmed with WinPLC7 or Siemens STEP7(LAD,STL,FBD). Signaling, communication and function modules can be interconnected with PROFIBUS-DP slave structures with the built-in PROFIBUS-DP master structure.
