Application Method: Iron and Steel: Before the coating application, rust, oil, grease, dust and similar impurities on the surface should be removed. There should be no moisture on the application surface. On the sheet metal surfaces to be applied, the surface to be coated must be sandblasted to SA 2½ grade or mechanically cleaned to at least St 2 grade in accordance with the ISO 8501 standard. It should be covered with the selected primer paint within 4 hours following this process. If it is necessary to postpone the application, the surface should be sandblasted and cleaned again before priming. Other Metals and Alloys (Galvanized, Aluminum, etc.): After cleaning the surface with PMR Epoxy Thinner, a single layer of PMR Epoxy Primer should be applied. New Concrete, Cement Plaster: The surface must be cured for at least 28 days. Mortar residue on cured surfaces etc. should be removed by light sanding or brushing. Old Concrete, Cement Plaster: Old paint, dirt, dust, etc. on the surface. loose particles such as light sanding, scraping, brushing are removed. Oil and grease residues are cleaned with detergent and water. Concrete surfaces are impregnated with solvent-free epoxy primer. After that, the primer and intermediate coat paint must be sanded before the PMR Epoxy Topcoat to be applied. The main material is thoroughly mixed, then the hardener is added to the main material and mixed homogeneously for 3 minutes. After the mixture is rested for 15 minutes, the application is started. If at least 10 hours at 20 °C, and more than 48 hours at the most, the surface should be roughened to ensure good adhesion.
